Huawei launches new smartphones IDEOS which will be priced between U.S. $ 100 to U.S. $ 200 the company announced on Funkaustellung Internationale (IFA) trade show in Berlin on Thursday. Besides Huawei has revealed that IDEOS brand name will be used in other smartphones.
This IDEOS new or U8150, the actual price will be determined depending on the smartphone market. Mobile phones will soon be distributed in several countries in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific region. Huawei hopes that more affordable smartphone that will expand the market.
IDEOS new smartphone comes with a variety of special features. Has a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS and a 2.8-inch capacitive touch screen. Huawei says Qualcomm processor clocked at 528 MHz. The user can access the Internet via the 802.11n network features common options in most top-end smartphones.
The company also wants to redefine the product features at production line. In the Android version 2.2, users can connect to the internet using Wi-Fi and then the device will connect them to the Internet using HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) at up to 7.2M bps (bits per second).
The company is also preparing the market for U8800 which is a more advanced version of the smartphone. The Company will start shipping the phone in October and the model will be sold in markets of Western Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific region. Defining characteristic is 14.4M bps HSDPA. It is available with android version 2.2. This model was introduced at Mobile World Congress in February.
